About Ray Baule, MD, FAANS, FACS

A Board Certified Neurosurgeon, Ray Baule helps prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate disorders that affect the spinal column, spinal cord, brain, nervous system and peripheral nerves. He is skilled in tube approaches to the spine with incisions typically less than one inch. He also offers expertise in motion-preserving spinal procedures. He offers minimally invasive treatment for many common neck and back disorders.

After obtaining his MD from Icahn Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1992, Dr. Baule completed his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Neurological Surgery. He completed fellowships in Complex Spinal Reconstruction at University at Buffalo Erie County Medical Center and Neurotrauma at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

He was in practice in North Carolina and Associate Professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
